lyrics
Burnt tongues, waste not.
Our souls turn to you at night.
Sun coats, flickering light.
Our dead stars, still burn bright.
Our noah’s ark sails right.
Burns die slow, I live an old song.
The places we belong, were made by scholars.
The war is inside and it won’t end, I love it’s hurt.
I’ve made my disguise, to understand you’d need remorse.
Burns die slow, enough.
Groan and bore, I live in circles.
Struggle to perform. It’s made of promise.
The sorrow’s inside and it won’t end, I love it’s hurt.
I’ve made my disguise, to understand you’d need remorse.
Light, let me get in.

Incredible album. I'm so happy how "Little Green Cars" evolved into Soda Blonde, and extremely pleased that Faye O'Rourke is at the forefront of vocals with her fantastic, captivating voice. Such a moving album, and the underlying themes really presenting a sort of isolation and general feeling of being upset in a relationship, in my interpretation.
